Lenguage

Is it more than a structured system of communication? Is there a universal language? Is it a single code or is it full of nuances? Is the tone we use in each situation important? Are we able to convey the same emotions or feelings in all languages? Does each art form have its own language? Language is connection and empathy, breadth; it is code and emotion. Language is identity. Language is culture. And it is a look at the world.

A hand, a line. A drawing on paper. A line that defines us. An expression in movement. A smile, a feeling. Saying nothing, but saying everything. A silence, a look. A pause that moves us. A grave at the end of a concert. A cry, a verse. A word that unites us. A truth in the face of the inexorable reverse of existence: transience and oblivion. Language.
