LAW COURTS TORTOSA

The building is located in the old town of Tortosa, surrounded by narrow streets that constrain the view of it from a close and fleeting point of view. The texture of the facade and the game of the different modules allow the pedestrian a different point of view of the building at each point in its perimeter.

The facade is configured with an in situ concrete skin and an outer skin of prefabricated concrete.

The prefabricated pieces modulate the facade and the openings and solve the different situations that occur in relation to the interior and the outside, the place and the program.

It has sought a color of the concrete that sits with the surroundings of the old town.
