LAW COURT BALAGUER

The Law Court of Balaguer is located at the old Quarter of the city. This is one of the most important Arabic historical centres in Catalunya. The irregular morphology is well adapted to a rugged topography. There is a balance between the thigh requirements and conditions of the functional workspaces and the site where the building is placed. From the inside the program is regularly organized and the internal structure thigh and pressuring the boundary of the plot. From the outside, the alignments, porches and urban traces shape the volume. In-between inside and outside, in-between program and site, there is a space of transition that gives the required privacy of the internal use.
